Our clients at Protara reached out to us to create a highly impactful video animation for their Investor Day presentation.
Today, approximately 78% of patients on parenteral support (PS) are choline deficient and 63% of them have liver dysfunction or damage. PS patients are unable to synthesize choline from enteral nutrition sources, but there are currently no PS formulations containing choline. In the U.S. alone, there are approximately 40,000 patients on long-term PS who could benefit from this treatment. We were asked to create an infographic – which evolved into a one and a half minute video – for an Investor Day presentation. The goal? To communicate the benefits of what could be the very first U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved IV choline formulation for PS patients.
On the kickoff with theVisual Goodness team and Protara, we defined what the key messages were and qualified the level of detail needed for an audience of investors and press. We brainstormed to devise the best way to tell the benefits of Choline story, and how to best highlight the systems of the body where IV Choline is critically needed in patients receiving parenteral support (PS). We converted the outline into a tight script, defined a visual style, storyboarded the animation, and delivered the final, polished piece in time for the brand’s Investor Day.
Our final 1:30 3D animated video was such a victory on Investor Day that the client has it featured on their website.
